| FETHA management decries activities of job scammers with the hospital's name |
The management of the Federal Teaching Hospital Abakaliki (FETHA) has warned the general public against falling victim of the false news spreading everywhere that the hospital is embarking on massive staff recruitment.
It has been recently observed that some fake news has littered the internet telling the public that FETHA is employing new staff in every cadre of the hospital going as far as telling people to apply for the said jobs.
FETHA management through the public relations department, has however come out to inform the general public that the hospital only advertised for applications for Pre-Rgistration House Officers and interns which is still ongoing. The hospital in a way to make the public get their message stated that what they advertised for is what other hospitals call IT.
The Abakaliki based Fedreral Teaching Hospital went ahead to distant itself from the fake advert which included every level of staff and department of the hospital describing it as fake and activity of scammers.
The hospital further warned the general public not to apply for such jobs or pay any one who claims to be a FETHA job agent stating that the hospital would advertise to the public in appropriate manner when there is any vacancy for jobs in the institution.
