2016 Chelsea Pre-Season Fixtures at A Glance

The 2016/2017 season of top European leagues is meant to start next month and all the big teams are currently making preparations for the upcoming season with a view to keeping their players in the best possible physical, mental and tactical fitness to be able to challenge for top honours in their respctive leagues come next season.

While there are so many pre-season football matches meant to be played by these teams in preparation for the commencement of the new season, today, we will be taking a look at CHELSEA 2016 pre-season fixtures.

Chelsea has already played their first preseason match which happened to be their first match under new manager Antonio Conte. Unfortunately though, the team lost the match 2 : 0 to Rapid viena the home team on that day.

Antonio Conte resumed duties with the club last week having signed in April to replace Jose Mourinho as the new Chelsea coach. Conte lost his first, match in charge of Chelsea but he and his players will be looking to make amends in the upcoming fixtures.

Chelsea is currently training in Austria where they will be playing their second preseason match against RZ Pellets in their second preseason match before travelling to the USA to take part in the International Champions Cup (ICC) in which they will be playinging against Real madrid, Liverpool and AC Milan respectively.

After taking part in the international champions cup, ICC, Chelsea will come back to England before making a short trip to Germany to play against Weder Bremen in what is meant to be the last Chelsea 2016 preseason fixture before their 2016 season opener against Westham United.
